Irvine Ranch Water District - Phase II Expansion

Contract Value $ 6,000,000. This project includes furnish and installation of 2,988 each 14" sq concrete piles for the expansion of the Irvine Ranch Water District's Water Reclamation Plant in Irvine, CA. Once this project is completed, this plant will have the capacity to recycle 28 million gallons of water per day. This is much needed as the Irvine Ranch Water District provides water to the majority of South Orange County.
The 14" sq concrete piles are being installed utilizing a hydraulic hammer with pre-drilling as necessary.
Pile driving operations commenced January 2010 and is expected to be completed in late 2010.
Piles are driven to up to 200 kip capacity at various structures throughout the plant.
