Solar Field Projects November 9, 2012

Throughout the Month of October 2012, Foundation Constructors worked with SPG Solar to install Solar Posts for two solar fields in California. The first, Los Guilicos Campus Photovoltaic System project, consisted of 408 Solar Posts for two solar array fields located in Sonoma, CA. This project faced complicated soil conditions consisting of large rock and cobbles up to 11" in diameter. The project site had a North to South 1% slope, which made keeping the posts within their 1" tolerance more challanging, but the projects were complete with all piles within tolerance. The second, Maddox Dairy Solar Photovoltaic System project, consisted of 547 Solar Posts that made up an east array and west array, located in Riverdale, CA. This project did not contain the soil complications that the Los Guilicos Solar project had. Both Projects were completed under the anticipated schedule and on budget. It was a pleasure working for SPG Solar and we look forward to future projects with their team. ..... read more
